ABOUT ME
My name is Olivia Smith, and I am from Dallas, Texas. I am a full-time student at Auburn University, graduating in May of 2021 with a degree in Apparel Merchandising with minors in Business and International Human Sciences. I have always been very passionate about fashion and am eager to work in the industry. Growing up, my grandmother owned a children's clothing line that I modeled for and later assisted her with photoshoots. During high school, I worked in a local children's and women's clothing boutique. I learned the good and the bad while working retail.
Additionally, I have experience with tradeshows and wholesale sales. As a current senior, I enjoy serving as the Public Relations Chair of the Apparel Merchandising and Design Association. See the experience tab to learn more about the variety of jobs and opportunities I have had in the fashion industry.
Additionally, this site includes fitness tips, recipes, and of course, some of my favorite stylish looks!
A note for the BLOG tab! As the current Senior Career Editor for Swatch blog by the Auburn Apparel Merchandising and Design Association, I contribute articles published to the blog. I have included them here as well.
I love to share the latest trends and keep up with current fashion, but on a college budget! During quarantine, I researched sustainability in the fashion industry and developed a passion for sustainable fashion. My career goal is to work for a corporate fashion brand, publication, and promote sustainability. If I could choose to begin my career in one place, it would be London. As you will see on my Europe & Study Abroad tab, I thoroughly enjoy living in Europe. I could also see myself becoming an entrepreneur to begin a firm that helps brands become more sustainable in their manufacturing and business practices.
I hope you enjoy my site! I would love to hear feedback and can't thank all of you enough for your support!

I have had the honor to write a few articles for the online magazine, Society 19. Please read and comment!
